The responsibility of the committee is to organize and provide for the needs of the Beit Avel during Shiva. Please review the Member Bereavement Procedures for notification guidlines and current contact information.

Shiva Notices will appear online under the Shul Notices group, tagged with the category of Shiva. Please update your notifications settings accordingly (by subscribing to the Mailings tag "Shiva") to receive shiva information via email or on your member mailbox on Rinat.org.

Member Bereavement Procedures

When a member of Congregation Rinat Yisrael (“Rinat”), chas v'shalom, loses a loved one, there are many ways in which Rinat may provide assistance. These include (i) membership notification (for affiliate members and full members), (ii) shiva organizational services (for full members), (iii) shiva support services (for full members) and (iv) chevra kadisha services, each as more fully described below.

We regret to inform you of the passing of
Rabbi Jacob Adler
beloved father of our affiliate member Manny Adler
beloved brother of our affiliate member Josh Adler

The levaya will take place today, Thursday, December 9, at 10:30 AM at
Guterman-Musikant in Hackensack.

The Adlers will be sitting shiva at the home of the niftar
1414 Hudson Road
through Wednesday morning, December 15.
