Rabbi Dr. Abraham Twerski, a scion of the Chernobyl Hassidic dynasty, is a renowned psychiatrist specializing in substance abuse. He is the author of over fifty books on Judaism and self help topics, including several books with Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strips used to illustrate human interaction and behavior.
Dr. Elli Kranzler, a psychiatrist and the much acclaimed Shaliach Tzibbur at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, has been described as "having one of the sweetest voices in the entire Jewish musical world". He is famous for his two recordings and many "Dveykus/Journeys" recordings as well as for his inspiring, SRO pre-Selichot concert and Selichot tefillot at HIR.
