Two very important elections are coming up locally. There will be elections for the local Boards of Education on Tuesday - April 20th and for the Teaneck Township Council on Tuesday - May 11th.
These two bodies are responsible for about 90% of our real estate taxes, and these elections will shape the future of our community and its quality of life.
The deadline for voter registration is March 29th (Erev Pesach). If you are not registered to vote, please register by printing out a form at www.njelections.org/form_pdf/09-voter-regis-forms/bergen-voter-reg-form-... . All individuals who will be 18 years old on or before April 20th are eligible to vote and this is a great opportunity to make sure all household members are properly registered.
