Mishloach Manot & Thanks …
Thanks to the efforts and generosity of our kehila, we have been able to send mishloach manot to every single family living in our sister city in Israel, Otniel, for the past several years. Even in this difficult economy, and with the growth to 140 families living in Otniel this year, this effort generated enough support so that we were able to continue our annual effort and bring chizuk and pleasure to our brethren in Israel – we thank everyone who participated especially those generous families that helped us bridge the "gap" at the last minute.
We also thank Ilana Wertenteil and Barbara Hochman for their assistance in calculating the baskets ordered and handling the incoming funds on top of their other responsibilities!
