Networking @ Rinat

Posted on September 25th, 2009 by admin.

The economic times we are living in right now are trying, if not downright difficult for so many in our midst. A substantive number of our members are out of work, while many who own and operate their own businesses continue to struggle through these sluggish times.

As a continuing part of our “Networking @ Rinat” effort, we would like your help in developing a confidential database to help our members network. We have been approached by folks who believe that this database would benefit those who are out of work, but could also benefit lawyers, accountants, financial professionals and others who are looking to develop new business or new leads.

We are therefore asking all members (men and women) to submit a brief profile which would identify their unique skill set. The database which will be password protected and confidentially administered by a Rinat member, will afford our members a discrete way of identifying networking connections within our immediate community.

[Ed: 12/4/09 Members logged in to the site can search the database on the website by entering the keyword SKILLSET, optionally followed by an industry (e.g. SKILLSET accounting). For best results, you should have an account on rinat.org and maintain your skillset in your online profile under Demographic Information. The following old email method should not longer be used.]

Please send an e-mail to skillset [at] rinat [dot] org with the following brief information:

1) Name

2) E-Mail Address and/or Preferred Phone # (Work or Cell)

3) Job Function/Business Type/Skill Set

If we are able to get robust participation behind this initiative, it has the potential to be a tremendous resource. So many of those who are looking for work or leads are constantly searching for contacts who can offer helpful advice or connections. By simply sharing with us your name, contact info and skill set, you can potentially be that helpful advisor.

Thank you in advance for demonstrating that our kehilla is a caring, supportive one that truly believes that “If I am only for myself, what am I?”
