A text-based shiur drawing on Neviim Rishonim and Achronim that will show how the ancient practices of ritual sacrifice can be understood as a means for energizing our tfillot and core Jewish values, and how the lessons of the korbanot can be applied to improve contemporary Jewish religious leadership.
Mrs. Miriam Reisler is the Rosh Beit Midrash at AMIT Bellows Ulpanat Noga in Beit Shemesh and offers support and direction to schools seeking to establish beit midrash programs. She is an innovative teacher who has taught both Tanakh and Talmud to students ranging from 5th graders to adults at Noga, Mekor Chaim, Matan and Midreshet Lindenbaum. Prior to her aliyah, Mrs. Reisler was a much acclaimed teacher at the Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls. She earned her BA from Harvard University and lives in Beit Shemesh with her husband and four children.
