Cong. Rinat Yisrael's Adult Education Committee presents several programs focused on Torat Eretz Yisrael.
1. On Shabbat, June 25 at 7 PM, Rav Elchanan Samet will speak in Hebrew on "The Elegy of Shmuel at Gilgal: a Literary and Textual Analysis." Rav Samet is a noted Tanach teacher at Michlelet Herzog, and he served as Ram in Yeshivat Bichat Moshe in Maale Adumim.
2. On Sunday, June 26 at 8 PM (following a pre-shiur mincha at 7:45 PM), Rav Dr. Benny Lau will speak in Hebrew on "The Urgent Need to Revolutionize the Religious Atmosphere in Israeli Society." Rav Lau, a well known author and lecturer, is the Director of the Center for Judaism and Society at Bet Morasha of Jerusalem and the Rabbi of the Ramban Synagogue.
3. On Tuesday, June 28 at 8 PM (following 7:45 PM mincha), Rav Yoel Bin Nun, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Kibbutz Hadati and the acclaimed master teacher of Tanach, will deliver a Hebrew shiur on "Mei Meriva - Hanhagat Hanes as Opposed to Hanhagat Hadibbur".
4. On Sunday, July 3: Rosh Chodesh - Rav Yoel Bin Nun will deliver a Hebrew shiur after the 8 AM Shacharit - approx 9:15am. The topic is: "Pinchas - What is the place of Kanaut?"
