Scholar in Residence This Week

This Shabbat, June 1-2, 2012
Rabbi Aaron Kraft and his wife, Lynn, will be joining us for Shabbat.
Rabbi Kraft is a candidate for our Assistant Rabbi position.

He will speak at the following times:
Friday night, 7:00pm minyan - D'var Torah
Shabbat morning - Drasha at each minyan
Shabbat afternoon, 5:00 pm - Open Forum in the Main Shul
Shabbat afternoon, 5:40 pm - Meet and Greet in the Social Hall

Shiur between Mincha and Maariv in the Main Shul

Rabbi Aaron Kraft is a member of the Bella and Harry Wexner Kollel Elyon of RIETS at Yeshiva University. He served on the rabbinic staff of Congregation Ahavath Torah in Englewood for two years. Most recently he was an Assistant Rosh Kollel of Y.U.’s Keter Torah Summer Kollel and has also lectured as scholar-in-residence in various shuls throughout the country. He received his BA with Honors from YU in 2006, completed his semikha studies there in 2009 and is currently pursuing an MA in Medieval Jewish History at Bernard Revel Graduate School. His wife, Lynn, teaches Tanakh at Ma’ayanot. They reside in Bergenfield with their three children, Adira (6), Tani (3) and Eli (1). Please extend a warm welcome to Rabbi and Mrs. Kraft.
