ISRAEL ACTION COMMITTEE
A powerful way to show our support for a united Yerushalayim and a strong and secure Medinat Yisrael is to visit where many other tourists won’t. Since quite a number of our members are going to be traveling to Medinat Yisrael over Yeshiva break, we would like to strongly suggest that you make an effort to visit and give chizuk to those places and Jewish communities in Eretz Yisrael that are on the “front line.” As the Pasuk says, “מָקוֹם, אֲשֶׁר תִּדְרךְ כַּף-רַגְלְכֶם בּו-לָכֶם נְתַתִּיו כָּל”, one of the best ways to ensure that areas remain in Jewish control, other than moving and living there, is to increase Jewish traffic into those areas. We suggest you consider visiting Har Habayit (as per Rabbi Adler’s psak), Hevron, our sister city of Otniel and Eastern Yerushalayim/Beit Orot.
We have provided contact information below to enable you to make suitable arrangements. Tizku l’Mitzvot!

MISLOACH MANOT for OTNIEL
Thanks to the efforts and generosity of our kehila, we have been able to send mishloach manot to every single family living in our sister city in Israel, Otniel, for the past seven years. We have also been able to send mishloach manot to the chayalim who are stationed near Otniel, as well as families of victims of terror. We should also mention that our mishloach manot orders help a couple in Efrat with their parnasa since they prepare and deliver the baskets for us. The effects of our efforts are being felt by so many and are so deeply appreciated and we are conducting this effort once again!
There are a number of ways to sign up to be a part of this effort: either through the Nerot Mishloach Manot form, by sending in the form online at www.rinat.org/otniel and following up with payment to the office.
We cannot describe the chizuk and pleasure that this brings to our brethren in Israel – we thank you in advance for your participation!
Please contact Lianne Forman or Zvi Sebrow with any questions.
