Several women at the Mishneh shiur commented that we had already learned Masechet Shabbat several years ago and would like to learn something else.  I am prepared to accommodate you interest in learning any Masechet. The following have been covered recently: Brachot, Shabbat, Megilah, Gittin. 

Hosting new families

Hot DAIRY kiddush on Simchat Torah

We are looking for sponsors for a HOT DAIRY kiddush/lunch on Simchat Torah to be served after davening.  Sponsorship is a minimum of $72 but more is welcome.  Without enough money we will not have this kiddush.

Yom Kippur Chair set up assistance

NNJ Kids Letter

Dear Rinat Member:

I have been asked to act as a "shul advocate" for NNJKIDS, with the mission of increasing the participation of the Rinat community in the program. I was happy to accept this assignment, because I am convinced that NNJKIDS is the single most important project that has been undertaken in our community in the past few years, for two reasons:

Please note that the evening of chizzuk and reflection to mark the tragic passing of Ovadia Mussaffi z"l and Larry Krause z"l, which had been scheduled to be held on Motzaei Shabbat, April 10th, has been postponed.

A new date for this event will hopefully be announced shortly.

 

Chesed Opportunity for Krause Family

The Rinat family is being called upon to help out the Krause family who recently suffered the loss of Larry Krause a"h.  Larry used to bring his son Yonaton to and from MTJ every day.   As a substitute, we need rides for him to/from the #167 bus. Attached is a schedule; I am trying to set up a 2-3 week rotation. If you are able to help, please contact Lisa Rothschild at: Devora [at] hoss [dot] net

No Shaimos Drop off

Effective immediately, please do not drop off shaimos at the shul for burial, as we have no place to store it. This includes (but isn’t limited to) old seforim, pages from shiurim or books, benchers, tzitzit), When we are able to accept shaimos again in the future we will advise the membership.

Bonnie Berman Memorial Program at "Bergen Reads"

In Memory of our beloved friend, Bonnie Berman, A Memorial  Campaign has been developed to provide both manpower and books to the “Bergen Reads” Program.
