Website Steering Committee

The mission of the new Rinat.org is to support our shul's membership communications and community needs. Going beyond a simple Web 1.0 brochure site, our new mission is to be as dynamic as our membership, supporting groups of members that come together both in shul and throughout the week for many community purposes.

Technologies: we use the following technologies in the development and production of the website and its integration with Rinat's systems

  • Drupal (6.x)
  • LAMP server
  • MySQL / MS Access

Membership: upon request; please include details in your request of other projects at Rinat you have contributed to, and any background relevant to the moderator in considering your request to become an active member of this committee.

How-to: The Rinat Calendar on your PC or Smartphone

The Rinat calendar is an interactive, electronic version of the monthly calendar (also posted every month in PDF format as well printed as in the Kol Rinat). The calendar supports the Internet Calendar (iCalendar 2.0) format which is compatible with most modern calendaring applications, such as Outlook 2007 (2003 is currently incompatible), Google Calendar and the new Yahoo Calendar.
