Chevra Kadisha Of Bergen County

The Chevra Kadisha performs the sacred mitzvah of chesed shel emet by ensuring that every member of our community is cared for with dignity and respect.
The tasks of tahara, shmirah and preparation for burial are carried out by dedicated volunteers who work quietly and compassionately, often behind the scenes and at all hours of the day, regardless of the circumstances.  This essential service is provided to families in their most vulnerable moments.
The Chevra Kadisha is seeking financial support from all shuls in Bergen County in order to assist with the purchase of a new vehicle. 
Rinat is being asked to contribute up to $3,600 toward this cause.
A contribution of any amount will help sustain the Chevra Kadisha's efforts to serve every member of our community with care and kavod.
