Some of our upcoming projects include (Details of each program to be provided soon.):

  1. BOOK DRIVE: Sunday, December 10 (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) to support Houston families affected by Hurricane Harvey.  We will be collecting gently used books (Pre-K to 5thgrade) for "Books Between Kids," an organization that will distribute these books to Houston’s at-risk children. Please email if you wish to volunteer for the book drive.
  2. DONATE: In response to the immense devastation created by Hurricane Maria, the Hispanic Federation (HF) convened government, community and philanthropic institutions and leaders to create the UNIDOS Disaster Relief and Recovery Program. The goal is to serve the immediate and long-term needs of Puerto Rico, distributing millions of pounds of food, water and essentials and supporting emergency relief and recovery projects. Rinat is committed to helping relieve this humanitarian crisis. Please consider giving to the Rinat-Unidos Puerto Rico effort.
  3. THANKSGIVING DAY: November 23, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Join your Rinat friends for a Thanksgiving morning visit to the Teaneck Police Department, Teaneck Fire Deparment and Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps to express our hakarat hatov for their service. We’ll deliver some treats and meet some of our local first responders. All ages welcome. Looking for volunteers to contribute baked goods and help coordinate.
  4. SERVE MEALS for weekday breakfasts and lunches at Eva’s Village, a soup kitchen in Paterson.
  5. GIVE OF YOURSELF Volunteer at Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative, a primary care facility in Hackensack which cares for the uninsured.
