GABBAI NOTE
This year we are planning on keeping the Yom Tov Shacharit times consistent with our regular Shabbat schedule (excluding Simchat Torah). We will have 7:00am, 8:30am, 8:45am and 9:00am minyanim. Please be sure to check the calendar and weekly brief to confirm the locations of the minyanim should we need to change venues.

SIMCHAT TORAH CANDY BAG SPONSORSHIPS AND VOLUNTEERS
Nerot is seeking sponsors for the Annual Simchat Torah Candy Bags, filled with yummy treats for our kids. Please consider sponsoring this annual tradition by  clicking here. Teen and adult volunteers are also needed to pack the candy bags on October 5th. For more information e-mail nerot@rinat.org.

PEACE OF MIND
Rinat will host a unit of 21 IDF soldiers from October 15th-22nd. We will partner with the Peace of Mind Program, to create an environment for these heroes to process their combat experience together as a group with specially trained therapists. The distance from Israel and the community support play an important role in creating a safe, quiet and supportive environment. Members of our community will be afforded the opportunity to spend quality time with Israel’s best, in the process creating long-lasting personal ties and relationships. Sukkah Hop—Shabbat, September 30th, 4-6pm. Begins in Youth Area and will finish in the Shul Sukkah.

Parent Child Learning is on hiatus and will resume after the chagim.

Dr. Yitz Landes—1st day of Sukkot, Shabbat, September 30th, 5:05pm. “On Memorization, Manuscripts, and the Melammed: The Early History of the Children’s Mishnayos Shiur” Main Shul.
