ADVOCACY
We can ensure that America is there to support Israel in its time of extreme need. We have seen strong support from the U.S. government, both in statements and in action. Many of your senators, congressmen, and other political officials have made strong statements of support for the Israeli people and the IDF’s actions against Hamas. You can help this effort by ensuring this support remains in place and by sending a message of thanks - hakarat hatov - to elected leaders if they have made a supportive statement.
Contact President Biden - https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/
President Joe Biden made a powerful speech about Israel and the heinous Hamas attacks on our beloved Eretz Yisrael. It is paramount that he hears and feels our appreciation loudly – for speaking with moral clarity, for standing in support of Israel, and for sending Israel the military aid it needs to vanquish Hamas.
If you wish, you may copy and paste from this sample text into the box that asks “what would you like to say” on the form:
Thank you, President Biden, for your strong speech in support of Israel in her war against Hamas. You spoke with moral clarity about how Hamas is evil and you expressed your full support for Israel’s war of self-defense against these vile terrorists. I thank you for your clear pledge of support to provide Israel with whatever it needs to fight this war to the end. Please stay strong and resolute in the coming weeks as Israel fights for her security and for the free world.

Dear Representative [insert His/Her Last name],
As a constituent and Jewish American with many friends and family in Israel, I want to thank you sincerely for your statement of support for our ally Israel in its time of need.
As you know, on October 7th, as Jews in Israel began celebrating the holiday of Simchat Torah—50 years since the devastating Yom Kippur War—the Iran-backed terror group Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel, killing unknown numbers of civilians and soldiers and taking hostages into Gaza, including American citizens.
Your support gives us hope and encouragement that America will continue to be the best ally Israel has in the world.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your words.
Sincerely,
Your Name
Dear Senator
Thank you so much for your steadfast support of Israel as she fights for her very existence and the safety and security of her citizens. Thank you for expediting the initial aid package during the first few days of the war and for visiting Israel to witness the horrors that took place and to better understand the military and civilian needs. We hope that you will continue to support ongoing aid to Israel, giving Israel all of the assistance necessary to win this war against evil and barbaric terrorists.
We are very concerned about voices in the administration calling for restraint on Israel’s part in her defense of citizens. We hope you will continue to allow Israel the freedom of action to be able to finish the job of eliminating Hamas, to ensure the safety and security of her citizens.
Again, thank you so much for your support of Israel, we are so fortunate to have such a strong and important voice in support of Israel.
Very truly yours
