Daf Gemara Interest 2019
Daf Gemara Interest 2019
Lichvod Chaveireinu Hayikarim,
I hope you and your family are well. As I mentioned in shul on Yom Kippur the Siyum HaShas will take place on January 1st, 2020 at MetLife Stadium. There will also be a special siyum for women on January 5th, 2020 at Binyamei Haumah in Yerusalayim. I would like to make these events very special ones in our shul. I am asking every man and woman to accept the responsibility to learn one daf gemara. There are ample resources to help the novice, especially the Art Scroll edition on every volume of the Talmud. Depending on the number of people who sign up, we can select a masechet and collectively finish it in time for the siyum. Please respond by completing the form indicating your commitment.
I will also be giving a model daf for all women to expose everyone to the Talmud daf and how to navigate it.
I look forward to hearing from you soon as we prepare to become active participants in this once every seven and a half year celebration.
בידידות רבה
Yosef Adler
