A number of local doctors have been consulted and I have been told that, based on the current numbers in our area, singing does not present a high risk of transmission provided that all participants wear masks that cover the mouth and nose.  So we will be able to have singing during davening. 
 
I want to thank our Ba'alei Tekiyah and Ba’alei Tefillah who have agreed to take covid tests before Yom Tov in order to ensure the safety of all mitpallilim.  The shofar will also be blown outside the tent in order to further minimize the risk of exposure.  These steps will obviate the need for the shofar to be covered with a mask and a Tallis.
 
It is my hope that our enhanced tefillot will inspire greater fervor and Kavanah.  May HKBK grant us
