THIS Sunday, March 5 at 8:00pm - Rabbi David Silber, Dean of the Drisha Institute will be speaking on the topic: "Is God in the Megillah?" from his new book "For Such a Time as This: Biblical Reflection in the Book of Esther".  
Rabbi David Silber is the Founder and Dean of Drisha, which provides students of all ages and backgrounds with the opportunity to encounter Jewish texts in a serious, intellectually rigorous, and inclusive manner. Its dedication to teaching Torah to women and men has strengthened Jewish lives and communities for close to forty years. Rabbi Silber received the Covenant Award in 2000 and is the author of A Passover Haggadah: Go Forth and Learn, published by JPS in 2011, and the newly released For Such a Time as This: Biblical Reflections in the Book of Esther [Hebrew], published by Koren Publishers. Signed copies of Rabbi Silber's new book will be available for a discount at the event.

Chevra Kadisha Volunteers:
The Women's division of the Rinat Chevra Kadisha is in need of additional volunteers to perform Taharot.  If you have prior experience,or even if you have never been involved in this task previously but would like to perform this mitzvah of Chesed Shel Emet, please send an email to Susan Richmond at richmondsusanm@gmail.com with all of your contact information as well as your level of experience.
