Topic: “Iyunim ba-Machzor: Philosophic and Literary Insights into Familiar Piyyutim". Please bring a Rosh HaShanah Machzor to the shiur.
Rabbi Ozer Glickman is a Rosh Yeshiva in the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University, where he has been teaching Talmud, Halakhah, and Jewish Thought for almost two decades. He has also taught halakhah and American legal theory at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and Business & Jewish Law in the Sy Syms School of Business.

Just in time for Elul, the start of school and the beginning of football season, this s
umptuous kiddush is a way to meet new members, catch up after a long hot summer, learn about ways to get involved in our beautiful community and show hakarat ha-tov to all those who work so hard for the shul. Please note: Youth Groups will be extended this week only! Kiddush will be served separately to the children so that adults can have a chance to talk to and meet each other. Please pick your children up between 12:15-12:30pm. Thanks to Martin, Divsha and all the youth leaders for going the extra hour! NEROT will be hosting our Annual Pre-Yom Tov Boutique in the Rinat Yisrael Grand Ballroom on Sunday September 17th from 5-9pm. Shopping will be advertised to the community at large, and open to the public, however we would like to highlight vendors that are Rinat Yisrael Full & Affiliate Members.
