Shabbat morning - drasha at 8:30 and 9:00am minyanim 
Shabbat afternoon at 6:00pm - Mimamakim Shiur in honor of Yom Hashoa  
Shabbat after mincha - "Rambam's Enigmatic Position on Yishuv Eretz Yisrael" 
Saturday night kumzitz in the Social Hall at 9:30 pm - " Al Eileh Ani Bochi'ya", songs for the fallen solders that give expression to their personal grief, including anecdotal material relating to the huge sacrifice that Israel has made during its 70 years of Independence. 
Sunday morning shiur at 8:45 am - "Kol Dodi Dofek Revisited" 

We are pleased to announce that the gala Teaneck community-wide celebration of Israel's founding will take place at the Jewish Center of Teaneck, 70 Sterling Place, on Yom Haatzmaut, Wednesday evening, April 18 at 7:15pm. (Please note the change of venue from the previous year.) The evening will open with tfillat mincha, followed by a Yom Hazikaron presentation from an Israeli soldier, and tfillat maariv chagigit. It will continue in the Jewish Center's social hall, which will be transformed into a Shuk Yisraeli, replete with Israeli food, music and experiential activities focusing on Israeli culture, geography and history. The evening will conclude in the Jewish Center's sanctuary with a musical performance of Shirei Eretz Yisrael - classic Israeli folk songs.
This event will be suitable for all adults and for children from sixth grade and up.
