Friday Plag Mincha Minyan
In response to recent demand, we will be initiating a third Friday night (plag) mincha minyan this week.  The minyan will convene in the beit midrash and will hopefully run throughout the summer months.This week’s plag mincha minyan will begin promptly at 6:00pm.  Please join us if this fits into your schedule.
In order to ensure participation in the initial weeks while the minyan gains traction, please confirm your expected attendance to gabbai@rinat.org .

Important Community Awareness Event - THIS Sunday Evening, April 22, at 8:00pm, at TABC
What is addiction? How can we prevent it? What can we do to help those who struggle with this disease? Members of the Teaneck community, along with Amudim, invite you to join us for an evening of awareness and education about the growing epidemic of substance abuse and addiction within our community. This important event will be held on Sunday, April 22nd, 8pm, and is free of charge. Our goal is to increase public awareness and understanding, reduce the stigma associated with addiction, and encourage our community to focus on the issue and learn how to detect and prevent substance abuse. Speakers will include Rabbi Zvi Gluck, Director of Amudim, Rabbi Larry Rothwachs, Director of Professional Rabbinics at RIETS/Rabbi of Congregation Beth Aaron, Avi Shteingart, LCSW/CASAC, as well as a recovering addict and a local parent. 

Rabbi Adler's weekday shiurim - change in schedule: The Wednesday Chumash class is cancelled as a result of NORPAC, and the women's Mishnah shiur will be held on Tuesday night at 8:00pm.

RINAT NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The Board of Trustees recently approved the 2018 Nominating Committee comprised of David Schiff, Bina Faber and Josh Zelig. The Committee is charged with preparing the 2018-2019 slate of candidates for the Board (maximum of 20 individuals) to be elected by the membership. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please inform one of the committee members. Ten percent (10%) of the membership may petition the Nominating Committee prior to May 6, 2018 to include a candidate on the slate. Elections and the annual membership meeting will be held in June.
