Pre-Mincha shiur: Shabbat, August 25, Parshat Ki Teitzei, 5:50pm - Professor Sarah Rindner will speak on: The Curious Case of Miriam Devorah: S.Y. Agnon and the Female Voice in Jewish Tradition.
Professor Sarah Rindner teaches English Literature at Landers College for Women and is a frequent contributor to the Jewish Review of Books and Mosaic Magazine, among other publications.  She writes and speaks about the intersection of Judaism with disciplines such as literature, art and political thought.  She studied English and Judaic Studies at Stern College and has an MA in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.  She lives in Teaneck, NJ with her husband and four children.

Shofar blowing for the Homebound:

Lost and Found
There are tables in the lower lobby coat room, and a book cart with unclaimed seforim in the upstairs coatroom, with many personal items that have been left in the building. Please come and check if any of the items belong to you. After two weeks, the items will be donated to charity. Thank you.

Parking Courtesy to Rinat's Neighbors
We value our good relationship with our neighbors. Therefore, it is disturbing that some have reported that their driveways have been blocked by cars belonging to people davening or attending events at our shul. We have advised our neighbors that we will cooperate to have violators reported, ticketed and/or towed. Please ensure that both members and visitors treat our neighbors as you would like to be treated.
