This Shabbat, Parshat Ki Teitzei, August 25, 5:50pm, Professor Sarah Rindner will speak on: The Curious Case of Miriam Devorah: S.Y. Agnon and the Female Voice in Jewish Tradition.

Professor Sarah Rindner teaches English Literature at Landers College for Women and is a frequent contributor to the Jewish Review of Books and Mosaic Magazine, among other publications.  She writes and speaks about the intersection of Judaism with disciplines such as literature, art and political thought.  She studied English and Judaic Studies at Stern College and has an MA in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.  She lives in Teaneck, NJ with her husband and four children.
