This year, sunrise (netz) occurs at 6:58am on Purim morning.  L’chatchila, one should attempt to fulfill all the mitzvot hayom after netz.  For Kriat HaMegillah, this can be accomplished at any of our shacharit minyanim beginning at 6:30am.  Recognizing the need for some to daven earlier, we will also be providing a 6:00am minyan. Although Kriat HaMegillah will begin before the l’chatchila zman at this minyan, you will fulfill the mitzvah.

Yeshivat Noam 7th graders are running a pasta gragger drive at every Shul in Teaneck on Purim. We are excited that Rinat Yisrael is participating. Please bring pasta boxes to shul with you for megillah to use as graggers and then drop them in the the lobby drop-box when you are done. This is a great way to do two mitzvot in one! The pasta boxes will be donated to Tomchei Shabbos and the Jewish Federation's food drive.

Mishloach Manot

Mishloach Manot will be delivered to our members between now and Thursday. Affiliate members can feel free to stop by the shul during business hours until Wednesday at 4:00pm to pick up their Mishloach Manot.

Purim Youth Programming: March 20
7:40pm- Nursery - 2nd grade: Special show in Classroom D/E
3rd - 6th grades: Special Kids Megilla Reading followed by a show (drop off in Classroom C, pickup in Classroom D/E.)
