ISRAEL INITIATIVES
LIGHTS FOR HOSTAGES
This Chanukah light an extra menorah for one of the hostages who are unable to light this year. To sign up, click here.

CHANUKAH CELEBRATION FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE HOSTAGE FAMILIES
Rinat will sponsor a Chanukah celebration for children of Hostage families run by volunteers from the Hostage Forum and the JLIC Tel Aviv community. There will be clay and ceramic activities followed by candle lighting, dinner, and a Chanukah party. If you would like to help contribute toward similar activities to help families in Israel during the war, please contribute by clicking here.

RINAT CHESED/VOLUNTEER DAY TRIP - STARTING IN JERUSALEM
Rinat is gauging interest in organizing a day trip from Jerusalem over Yeshiva week, on either Sunday, January 19th or Wednesday, January 22nd. The trip will include volunteering and chesed. Pricing will be around $100 per person to cover the cost of the bus, guide and lunch. Please complete interest form by clicking here.

6TH GRADE GROUP LEADER TRAINING
Are you interested in becoming a group leader? Join us for our 6th Grade Group Leader Training on Friday night, February 7th. Located at the home of Divsha & Martin. CHANUKAH CELEBRATION FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE HOSTAGE FAMILIES
Rinat will sponsor a Chanukah celebration for children of Hostage families run by volunteers from the Hostage Forum and the JLIC Tel Aviv community. There will be clay and ceramic activities followed by candle lighting, dinner, and a Chanukah party. BAR MITZVAH PROGRAM
We are excited to announce the start of our Bar Mitzvah Program 5785 with Rabbi Strauchler.
During a series of 7 classes, Rabbi Strauchler will help prepare young men for their bar mitzvah with the study of Hilchot Tefillin, Group Discussions, Q&A, Chesed and other activities.
Classes begin Motzei Shabbat, December 7th, 6:45-8pm and will continue December 21st, January 4th, 11th and February 8th, 15th, 22nd.

PEACE OF MIND-VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We will partner with the Peace of Mind Program, https://peaceofmind.org.il/home-english/ , to create an environment for these heroes to process their combat experience together as a group with specially trained therapists. The distance from Israel and the community support play an important role in creating a safe, quiet and supportive environment. Members of our community will be afforded the opportunity to spend quality time with Israel’s best, in the process creating long-lasting personal ties and relationships. ELECTION DAY - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH
It is critical that every resident vote in the upcoming election, particularly for the close races for town council and board of education. You can vote early at the Rodda Center through Sunday November 3rd at the Rodda Center or at your regular polling place on Tuesday November 5th. If you vote by mail, please make sure to mail or drop off your ballot by November 5th.

HVAC INSTALLATION
The installation of our new HVAC system will start on Monday, November 4th. The street directly outside the shul will be closed with police diverting traffic. The parking lot will also be closed.
